Soluble Salts:
All sodium, potassium and ammonium salts 
All nitrates 
Most chlorides, bromides and iodides
Most sulphates 

Sodium, potassium and ammonium carbonates 
Sodium, potassium and ammonium hydroxides


Insoluble Salts:

​Lead chloride, bromide and iodide, Silver chloride, bromide and iodide 
Barium, calcium and lead sulphates 
Most carbonates 
​Most hydroxides 
​
Key terms:
Oxidation is the loss of electrons or the gain of oxygen
Reduction is the gain of electrons or the loss of oxygen
A redox reaction is a reaction in which there two substances, one being oxidised and one being reduced at the same time
The oxidising agent is the thing being reduced
The reducing agent is the thing being oxidised
