Verbs are found, in dictionaries, in their infinitives which is 'to do' something. To change the verb to 'I do' or 'You do' you need to conjugate it.
For example, to conjugate the verb to play (Jouer) which ends in ER you'd take off the ER and replace it with ine of the following:

- add EZ fro You (plural/polite) play
- add ENT for They play
- This would look like:

- Vous Jouez
- Ils/elles Jouent
Ir verbs such as Finir conjugate like this:
- Je Finis
- Tu Finis
- Il/elle/on Finit
- Nous Finissons
